SIEM REAP - PNH

Arrival in Saigon. Meet our guide at the airport and transfer to hotel in Saigon(Time check in: 14:00PM). Welcome dinner and tour briefing in the evening. Overnight in Saigon

After breakfast in hotel we take a city tour to see the different faces of this bustling city on a full day tour with extensive visits to the Re-Unification Palace, the Central Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Jade Emperor Temple and the Ben Thanh market. Lunch in local restaurant. After lunch we drive to the famous Cu Chi underground tunnel system to experience how the Viet Cong lived and fought during the American War. Back to Saigon in the afternoon.

7h30 am: Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. You leave Saigon to Mekong Delta, especially you visit Cai be. It takes you about 2h30 going there. For people living in Mekong, their lives are attached to rivers, water. Almost activities could be organized on river as living, working, market gathering. On the way you can see the green paddy rice fields stretching forwards the horizon. Upon arrival in Caibe town, you’ll be on board for an exploration of lush vegetation of Mekong Delta and you will be eye witnessing the real life of Mekong local people . Next, a crowing boat rides on the maze of shady canals to arrive at a local orchard to enjoy the local tropical fruits and visit the daily activities, the handicraft villages of local people as making coconut candy and rice paper with pop-rice and pop-corn, rice-wine. You have the tasty seasonal tropical fruit and enjoy the traditional folk music, called “Cai Luong”.

Break your time for lunch at Ba Kiet, old house built since 1838 inside the garden. From here, you can walk around the garden before we get back on the transport  for our trip to Can Tho to overnight.

An early start for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating markets, one of the most lively and colorful markets in Southeast Asia. After the market we cruise back to town. Breakfast in hotel and visit to centre market of Can Tho. Transfer to Chau doc . 

On arrival, you start your trip visiting Chua Xu temple. Vietnamese people consider Chua Xu Lady look like Goddess of Mercy, she plays an important role in our society. Back to Chau Doc Town, you take the boat to visit the floating Houses where the fish is raised in the suspended metal Nets. The fish flourish in their natural river habitat. You continue to visit Cham village, Cham means Muslim people. With the traditional loom, Muslims people can weave the tissues and towels.

Check in hotel. Night in Chau Doc.. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Breakfast in hotel and aboard a speed boat at 7 am to Phnompenh. We would reach Phnom Penh International Port (Sisowath Street) around 12.30.

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh, meet and great by our guide and transfer to hotel in Phnom Penh. After check-in we take a short city tour of Phnom Penh visiting to the National Museum where we would see the world’s most wondrous collection of Khmer sculture. Continue to Wat Phnom where the Khmers prefer to pray for luck. Back to hotel for overnight.

08:30 am our guide & driver will meet and bring you to visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (from S21 prison). This prison was a secondary school and was used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest detention and torture center under the Khmer Rouge regime. Followed by one of Phnom Penh’s most iconic landmarks, The Royal Palace, a complex of buildings that serves as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia.

Then, visit Phsar Thmey (Central Market), a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. The four wings of this gigantic yellow dome are teeming with stalls that sell goods ranging from gold and silver, antique coins, money exchange, books, flowers, food, fabrics, shoes, souvenirs, seafood, and countless other products.

At noon – taken by shuttle bus to Siem Reap (314 KM/6hrs drive). Upon arrival, meet our driver and you’ll be transferred to check-in at the hotel. Remain of the day is a free day.

08:30 am, meet our guide & driver at the hotel’s lobby and head out to visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples which has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very much the way most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them, it was used as a location in the film Tomb Raider. Then head to see the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom, the Great Angkor City, established in the late twelfth century by King Jayavarman VII. We also visit the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King & Baphoun temple before continuing to visit Angkor Wat, the most popular tourist attraction in Cambodia-it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, also known as the “City of Temples” a temple complex in Cambodia and one of the largest religious monuments in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. Originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century. Seeing the architectural masterpiece of Angkor Wat. We stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Back to the hotel and a restful night.
