Mekong Delta & Angkor Wat 9 days 8 nights

Arrival in Saigon. Meet our guide at the airport and transfer to a hotel in Saigon. Welcome dinner and tour briefing in the evening. Overnight in Saigon

After breakfast in the hotel we take a city tour to see the different faces of this bustling city on a full day tour with extensive visits to the Reunification Palace, the Central Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Jade Emperor Temple and the Ben Thanh market. Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch we drive to the famous CuChi underground tunnel system to experience how the Viet Cong lived and fought during the American War. Back to Saigon in the afternoon.

7h30 am: Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. You leave Saigon for the Mekong Delta, especially when you visit Cai be. It takes you about 2h30 to get there. For people living in Mekong, their lives are attached to rivers, water. Almost all activities could be organized on the river as living, working, market gathering. On the way you can see the green paddy rice fields stretching forwards the horizon. Upon arrival in Cai Be town, you’ll be on board for an exploration of lush vegetation of Mekong Delta and you will be eye witnessing the real life of Mekong local people. Next, a crowing boat rides on the maze of shady canals to arrive at a local orchard to enjoy the local tropical fruits and visit the daily activities, the handicraft villages of local people as making coconut candy and rice paper with pop-rice and pop-corn, rice-wine. You have the tasty seasonal tropical fruit and enjoy the traditional folk music, called “Cai Luong”.

Break your time for lunch at Ba Kiet, an old house built since 1838 inside the garden. From here, you can walk around the garden before we get back on the transport for our trip to Can Tho overnight.

An early start for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating markets, one of the most lively and colorful markets in Southeast Asia. After the market we cruise back to town. Breakfast in the hotel and visit the center market of Can Tho. Transfer to Chau Doc. 

On arrival, you start your trip visiting Chua Xu temple. Vietnamese people consider Chua Xu Lady to look like the Goddess of Mercy, she plays an important role in our society. Back to Chau Doc Town, you take the boat to visit the floating Houses where the fish are raised in the suspended metal Nets. The fish flourish in their natural river habitat. You continue to visit Cham village, Cham means Muslim people. With the traditional loom, Muslims people can weave the tissues and towels.

Check in at the hotel. Night in Chau Doc. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Breakfast in a hotel and aboard a speed boat at 7 am to Phnom Penh.  We would reach Phnom Penh International Port (Sisowath Street) around 12.30.
Meet and greet our guide and transfer to a hotel in Phnom Penh. After check-in we have lunch in a local restaurant and take a short city tour of Phnom Penh visiting the National Museum where we would see the world’s most wondrous collection of Khmer sculpture. Continue to Wat Phnom where the Khmers prefer to pray for luck. Back to the hotel overnight.

Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Phnom Penh bus office for Bus trip to Siem Reap, (7.30 – 13.30). Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be met and transferred to a hotel. It is time to visit the world wonder of Angkor Wat and sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill. Dinner show at local restaurant. O/N at hotel in REP

Continue to the enchanting temple of the Banteay Srei, nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of its decorative carvings.
In the afternoon, visit Banteay Samre, one of the most complete complexes at Angkor due to the "anastylosis" restoration method being used.

We started to visit the beginning of the Angkor period of the Rolous group: Preah Kor, Baking and Lo Lei temple. Dinner not included and accommodation at hotel

We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers, Pre Rup, East Mebon, Neak Poan.

Visit Krovan, Royal Bath of Srah Srang and Banteay Kdei temples.

We boarded a boat in Tonle Sap Lake. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals.
