Cu Chi - Vietnam

Cu Chi

The tunnels of Cu Chi are a complex underground system that includes living quarters, hospitals, storage areas, and weapons factories. They were used by the Viet Cong to launch surprise attacks on US and South Vietnamese troops and to store food, weapons, and other supplies. Today, the tunnels of Cu Chi have been preserved as a tourist attraction, offering visitors a glimpse into the life of the Viet Cong during the war. Visitors can crawl through the narrow tunnels, see the booby traps that were used to defend them, and learn about the various strategies and tactics used by the Viet Cong. In addition to the tunnels, Cu Chi is also home to several other attractions, including the Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station, where visitors can see endangered animals like sun bears and gibbons, and the Hoang Cam smokeless stove village, where visitors can learn about traditional Vietnamese cooking techniques.
