We leave Hanoi at 0800 and drive through the beautiful countryside of the Red River Delta. On the way we have two comfort and refreshment breaks. One at a craft center run to raise money for the handicapped people in the village of Sao Do. The second stop is at Dong Trieu, one of two traditional ceramic villages in Northern Vietnam. Upon arriving in Ha Long City we transfer to our boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay and admire the stunning view of the soaring limestone peaks. We explore some of the wonderful caves and have opportunities for a swim. The trip would not be complete without a seafood feast on board. We cruise back to Ha Long City in the evening where we overnight. (Lunch included)
Meals: LBefore commencing our return journey to Hanoi we will visit the Hon Gai markets in Halong City West. From here we continue our way to Haiphong where we visit the beautiful Du Hang Pagoda and the Hang Kenh tapestry factory. We have lunch in Haiphong then drive back to Hanoi . (Breakfast included)
