With more than thousand of limestone peaks soaring from its crystalline emerald water, this area is one of the natural wonders of Vietnam, and now a World Heritage listed site. Visitors have constantly marveled at Ha Long Bays' natural beauty. The tiny islands are dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves that make an excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the boat deck. This trip combines a visit to this eighth-world wonder with an exploration of Cat Ba Island, over half of which was declared a National Park.

Day 1: Ha Noi capital > Ha Long Bay > Cat Ba Island
This morning we will depart Hanoi at 08:00 for a four-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. On the way we will stop for refreshments and take time to buy handmade souvenirs at a handicraft center run for disabled peoples.Upon arriving in Ha Long City, we transfer to our private boat for a cruise of the crystalline emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. While on board we will have a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim and exploring some of the limestone caves in this area.Our final destination for today is Cat Ba Island where we overnight. (Lunch included)

Today we spend the morning exploring the Cat Ba National Park and the old military hospital cave. In the afternoon we board a hydrofoil or the local ferry for our trip to the port city of Hai Phong. Here we come back to our vehicle for a 2-hour journey back to Hanoi. (Breakfast included)
