Hoa Lo prison
Hoa Lo prison is a historical site located in the heart of Hanoi, Vietnam. The prison was built by the French in the late 1800s to house Vietnamese political prisoners during their occupation of Vietnam. It was later used by the North Vietnamese to hold American prisoners of war during the Vietnam War.
Today, the prison serves as a museum and tourist attraction where visitors can learn about the history of the prison and its significance in Vietnam's struggle for independence. The museum contains exhibits and artifacts that detail the harsh conditions and torture methods used on prisoners, as well as the stories of the brave men and women who fought for their freedom.
