The provinces of Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Thua Thien Hue have organized tourism promotion programs in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Manila, the Philippines, aiming to promote and attract tourists from these two countries on Oct 23 in Malaysia.

The tourism promotion programs in Malaysia and the Philippines have garnered attention from tourism partners and customers in these two nations. In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the central region introduced new tourist destinations and products, as well as promoting the "Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage," one of the renowned tourism brands of the three provinces in the central region. Similarly, in Manila, the Philippines, the city of Da Nang organized a tourism promotion program to showcase the attractive destinations in Da Nang to travel agencies and companies in the Philippines.

One of the highlights of the program is the introduction of the Manila - Da Nang direct flight operated by Cebu Pacific Air. This is the first direct flight connecting the capital Manila the Philippines and Da Nang, Vietnam. The flight will commence on December 7, 2023, with a frequency of 3 flights per day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays every week. This is an important step in enhancing transportation links between the two countries and providing greater convenience for travelers from both nations who wish to explore and experience the attractive destinations in Da Nang and the Central region of Vietnam.
