Vinh Trang pagoda is located on Nguyen Trung Truc Street, My Phong commune, about 3km from the center of My Tho city, Tien Giang province.

Vinh Trang Pagoda is the largest Buddhist temple in Tien Giang Province, ranked as a national historical-cultural monument in 1984. The pagoda has been mixed Asian with European architecture.

Inside the main hall and corridor is the Chinese style but still retain the architecture of Vietnam. The main triple gate was built in 1933 through the labor of craftsmen recruited from the imperial capital in Huế, central Vietnam. The central gate is made from steel, while the two side gates are made from concrete and styled akin to a historical fortress. The triple gate has an upper level with another large gate on top.

The pagoda is surrounded by the gardens with many kinds of fragrant flowers, lakes and ancient trees, creating a perfect harmony between the natural landscape and the architectural space, making the pagoda more ancient and intensive. Highlighted in the garden is a statue of Amitabha Buddha with the altitude of 24m. White statue, representing the Buddha is watching the human being. Currently, Statue of Buddha is considered as the symbol of pagoda.
