Ho Chi Minh City’s Cholon is Vietnam’s largest China town with roots dating back to 1778; it’s also a place of great historical and cultural importance.

In Saigon, Chinese people live in District 5, a part of District 10, District 11 and District 6. Here, the Chinese have built the streets with their characteristic architecture. The Cholon area is home for living and purchasing of the Chinese and is often called China town. This is a very popular tourist attraction when coming to Saigon.
