Bai Tu Long is a bay of Vietnam, located in the Gulf of the North, in the Northeast of Vietnam. Bai Tu Long Bay consists of a sea area of Ha Long City, Cam Pha City and Van Don Island District.
According to the statistics of Bai Tu Long Bay, there are hundreds of limestone islands and slate stone with many famous places such as Bai Tho Mountain, Con Coc Islet, Hon Ong Hill, Hon Tur, Hon Oan, Stork Island, Thien Canh Son Cave, Tam Cung Cave, Me Cung Cave ....The island system also has High island - Low island, undulating on the water with hundreds of kilometers of coastline and creating a spectacular and romantic scene. With that terrain, Bai Tu Long Bay has many beautiful beaches such as Stork Beach, Van Don Beach, Quan Lan Beach, Minh Chau Beach, Co To Beach ... All of the above mentioned beaches keep the pristine appearance and purity of nature.
Besides, Bai Tu Long Bay includes hundreds of large and small islands, many of which are huge and inhabited. It is a diversified type of tourist attraction, which also has rich and varied fauna and flora. There are 780 species, of which 21 species of rare plants recorded in the Vietnam Red Book and 10 rare species needed to be protected.
Coming to Bai Tu Long Bay, it’s indispensable of marine tourism. In the population of Bai Tu Long Bay, there are 2km of natural coastline with fine white sand which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Gulf of the North. Above the beach is a primeval forest, stretching over an area of 14 hectares which is very uitable for those who prefer ecotourism.
