Subject: Reflections on our trip

Dear Ms Chi,

It is now 9 days since we returned from Hong Kong.    We are still suffering from some jet lag.    At the end of our tour, we flew from Siem Reap to Hong Kong, and stayed there for a whole week before coming home.

I want you to know that we all enjoyed our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia.    We would also like to thank you for making the trip so smooth and enjoyable.     The trip was long and complicated, requiring us to take a total of 7 flights, but was worth it.     In some places it was somewhat tiring, but your guides were very helpful and understanding.    All the guides were good, especially the ones in Hanoi and in Siem Reap.

We booked directly with you because your Itinerary was very good, and your pricing was fair.    You kept all your promises, especially the 5 star hotels, and we appreciated your willingness giving us the freedom to choose our lunches.     Thank you again,

Peter Fan

Subject: Excellent Tour Guide
Thank you for sending us such an excellent Tour Guide - 'Hieu' (Tran Thanh Hieu).

Hieu was so enthusiastic, very caring and very knowledgable. Nothing so too much trouble for him. He has a great sense of humour. All of the places we visited were great and the food was outstanding.

He suggested extra activities for us which were great. The dinner boat trip was wonderful.

Hieu is a credit to your company as he behaved in a very professional way at all times. He has superb manners and dresses immaculately.

He is worth his weight in gold!

PS: The Bus Driver, Mr Dong is wonderful too.

Ms. Chi

Thank you very much for organizing our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia in November 2012. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation; the people, the food, the hotels and sites visited were all excellent. The Service offered by yourself and other representatives of your company both in Vietnam and Cambodia was impeccable. We will, without hesitation, recommend you to any of our friends and acquaintances who will travel to Vietnam in the future.

Thank you again for organizing this trip and putting up with the numerous changes requested to the itinerary and hotel accommodation.

Vietnam is a beautiful country and I am sure we will be in touch to seek your assistance in arranging another trip in the future.

Once again the Service offered was commendable and I would ask that you share my comments with your boss.

I am writing to thank you for you help in making sure that our visit to Vietnam was enjoyable and
that all the arrangements worked smoothly.
Once again, the visits, trips, travel and accommodation worked very well indeed. As you suggested,
the Chalcedony was very good.
Your tour guides were both excellent - very thoughtful, well-organised and informative.
I will certainly recommend your organisation to my colleagues.

Hi Daisy,

I was very satisfied with your arrangements, which were well organised and efficient. I appreciate your assistance in planning this reservation at such short notice. Thank you.

I would also like to comment on Mr Kien's (Halong Bay Tour Guide) exceptional services and professionalism. He went above and beyond his call of duty to ensure we had the most enjoyable experience in Halong Bay. He was enthusiastic, informative, engaging, professional, helpful, organised and friendly, not to mention very good looking.

Last but not least, I would like to also comment on Anh Nam's (Halong Bay Driver) great service. He came to pick up my family and I, from the Hanoi Train Station, but unfortunately we didn't recognize him so he followed us for some time before contacting Mr Kien, who translated to us that Anh Nam was there to pick us up. Luckily, Mr Kien answered his mob as it was 5.00 am, otherwise there might have been a big misunderstanding between Anh Nam and I since we couldn't communicate.

I will definitely recommend SinhCafe Travel to my friends in future. Thank you once again.

kind regards,

Subject: Attention to Ms. Chi - Our comments

Dear Ms. Chi,
My family and I just returned home from our trip to South, Central and North Vietnam. We had enjoyed our tour as we expected. Thanks to Ms. Chi for organizing a well planned itineraries and assuring us the good quality of our accommodation, meals and sight seeings so that we could have peace of mind while travelling.
Ms. Chi's prompt service and patience are great. Thanks. For local tours, we were pleased to have Mr.Tran Thanh Hieu as our tour guide in South Vietnam. He is pleasant, friendly, helpful, humorous and filled with fun laughter. We had a good time with Hieu during our tour. He deserved an applause for his excellent service. We were also impressed with the tour guide in Ha Noi, Mr. Truong. His enthusiasm, knowledge and skills were great. Please convey our thanks to him.
By the way, I would like to mention about the driver, Mr. Tran Minh Hue who is particularly kind, patient, helpful and never forget to smile. His positive attitude matters more than his age. Also thanks to Asia Pacific travel company for sending a gift to my son on his 26th birthday. That was really a sweet surprise. Meanwhile, SilkPath hotel also brought my son a birthday cake to double the treat for him. How nice!
Basically, we enjoyed our stay in all the hotels and resorts due to convenient location close to down town and easily access to all amenities. Vinh Hung resort is fantastic. Camellia hotel and SilkPath hotel are our favourites. Regarding meals, we really loved the international buffet and the Vietnamese food in Hoi An. They are quite unique and delicious.
Without a doubt, I would recommend Asia pacific travel company to anyone who needs reliable travel agent specializing in Vietnam. We appreciated all your great service. Thanks again to Chi, Hieu, Truong, Hue and Asia Pacific company.

Regards,
Grace Tran

When we were in Danang we hoped to meet you but we heard from our guide that you were not in the office. It would have been nice if we could have thank you personally.

Dear Ms, Chi,
I have arrived back home in South Africa. I just want to thank you and your company, for the most professional and friendly service offered. Your guides, both the first city and the second, were absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable. You must be proud to have them work for you.
The hotels were very good especially the one in Siem Reapp, which is a fantastic place to stay and will certainly see me there again.

The temples were amazing to see and there is so much history in the country a person does not know about.
I did enjoy the Phnom Penn events, but irt makes a person very sad to see how evil manking can be.

I shall email you some photos later on, but at this moment, just want to say a great big thank you. Hopefully, Viet Nam is next on my list and I shall certainly make good use of your company once more.

The guides have all been good but particular thanks must got to The in Sapa and Dung in Hue who were both outstanding.

very clean.

We would also like to tell you of the excellent service provided by your driver Fee (probably not spelt that way but I do not think that

Dear Ms Chi,

Thank you very much for organising our Vietnam tour. We have very much enjoyed our trip and the time in Vietnam.

The services provided by you, Mr Thuc, our guides Mr Khoa in HCMC, Mr Bao Huy in Hoi An & Hue, Mr Quan in Hanoi, Halong Bay & Sapa, Mr Hoa for Perfume Pagoda and drivers were excellent and professional.

Especially, with Mr Bao Huy from Hue, who were attentive and spent extra time & effort to ensure we have a pleasant experience.

We highly recommend your company and services to our friends who would like to travel to Vietnam.

On a separate and unrelated issue to your company, we were very disappointed that our hotel in Hanoi, Sofitel Plaza, being a 5 star hotel had sold our room (double booked) for the night of 1 March 10. We were not able to check in immediately after our overnight train from Lao Cai on early morning of the 2nd of March. I trust this feedback may be of use to your company.

Once again, thank you for the great Vietnam tour and please pass on our appreciation to everyone involved.

We will certainly recommend your company to friends and other people who wish to visit your country.
Having said that we must give thanks to our drivers for their efficient and careful way they drove when transporting us around.
Finally we cannot give enough praise for our guide Mr Hieu for the professional and caring way he looked after us and made our second trip to your country a very enjoyable experience again. As you know this is the second time we have had Mr Hieu and we were certainly not disappointed with his talents this second time. His attitude, demeanour and knowledge of the places we visited was exceptional and we were left with an exciting experience and memory of your country.
We cannot speak more highly of his talents and his care. When he had another tour to attend to on the day we left he was telephoning us to make sure all was ok with the hotel transfer to the airport and for our transport home.
Mr Hieu is certainly an asset to your organisation and we look forward to having him again as our guide when we again return to Vietnam.

Dear Sir,

I was in Vietnam December last year and I took one of your guided tours to the Cu Chi tunnels.
It was a very pleasant and educative experience for me - a chance to see the a part of the story of the war on ground and to admire the resilience and mettle of the Vietnamese people.
The tour guide was very good in particular, and he was able to carry along people from diverse cultures, knowing when to engage and disengage.
I would like to get in touch with this young man again, but alas, I can't remember his name.

The tour was on Saturday, Dec 20, 2008 and we left from Ho Chi Minh city.
The tour guide, a young man, was very lively and funny. He is of medium height and body frame and he uses spectacles.
I would appreciate it if you can get me in touch with him.
I look forward to visiting Vietnam again and to working with Sinh Cafe.

Thanks and regards,

Thank you Tina
Other than the confirmation with Zephyr re the room, we are very happy with your arrangements for us.
The half day tour was very good.
The guide was very friendly and helpful
The van driver was very careful and on time always
The Halong bay tour was amazing
The flights were well arranged
So everything was excellent.

The only disappointment was the room - so as you say I suggest you carefully confirm things with Zephyr for any bookings for other guests as I think they have been less than truthful. I have noticed several times when they appear to have misled us or tried to cover the truth. For example they claimed when we arrived that they had only advice of two people - which your invoice shows to be incorrect. Then they tried to say that the room we were put in 807 was the largest room in the hotel. In fact it was a double room and the two adult girls had to sleep on the floor on a matress. Also the room air con did not work and it was VERY cold. Despite asking many times they did not respond.

After complaining hard in the morning - they moved us to two rooms - although these were of a low standard.

FINALLY after returning from Halong bay and after your fax to them they put is in the Zephyr suite AS YOU HAD BOOKED. They denied that this was the zephyr suite - but it was exactly what you had advised me when I first booked - a King and Queen bed. It has two rooms in the one suite.

So what all this suggests is that they did not tell the truth and they made life uncomfortable for their guest who had paid for the zephyr suite and simply did not get what you had paid for UNTIL the last night.

I think it is worth you advising them that unless they operate differently you will not be assigning people to their hotel again.

BUT please be assured that all the other parts of the arrangments were excellent.

It was a little confusing using the sing cafe name however when your trading name is Asia pacific travel

Thank you Tina for your help - and I will work through your company again

Have a happy new year
John

Subject: Feedback on our tour

Hi Thanh,

Just wanted to drop you a line and say that my wife and I had a fantastic time on our tour that we had with your company. The tour guides were friendly, helpful and informative and all other dealings with representatives from your company were great.

However, there was one exception and I'm writing this email and we were never given a feedback form to complete for Nha Trang. The tour guide (Hoa - I believe his name was) was quite unhelpful and his English was extremely poor - for example unable to tell me where some bars or restaurants were!! Additionally, the two restaurants that he had organised for us were the worst that we experienced on the tour and the one he took us to at the Fishing Village was a disgrace (my wife and I didn't even eat).

Sorry but I feel that it is necessary to provide this feedback as our experience in Nha Trang with the representative (the tour guide) from your company was not consistent with our otherwise excellent time on our tour.

Again, thank you for organising a wonderful holiday for my wife and I and we our even our friends may see you again sometime in the future.

Kind Regards,
Justin Cross

Jo and I are back home in New Zealnd now and it's a little bit colder than in your lovely country.
We have some great memories of our time with you and we talk about it a lot.
I have attached some photos for you that we took on the trip.

Hope all is well with you.
Kindest regards
Rod and Jo

Dear Le Thuc (Mr)

I would like to tell you how much I enjoyed my trip with Adventure Tours Vietnam. I found everything to be very well organised and planned and I enjoyed seeing parts of Vietnam that I would not have seen if I was not on your tour.

The tour guide and driver were both very helpful and added much to the enjoyment of the tour.

I will definitely be using your tour company again and also recommending others to use it.

Thank you

Dear Sir/Madam:

I would like to thank you for the excellent time that I had on the Mekong Delta tour. I would especially like to let you know how wonderful Tai Pham was as the tour guide. He was very friendly and informative and really made my trip very memorable. I hope that you appreciate how incredibly talented he is at his job. I have traveled to several continents and many countries and I have never had such an enjoyable tour guide.

Thanks very much.

Dear Mr. Le Thuc,

It quite nearly slipped my mind to thank you for a very wonderful trip! My parents and relatives had a very enjoyable time in Hanoi (i've heard all their stories already. I am very tempted to go to Hanoi myself) and the Rosalisa hotel was a very lovely place to stay and very central too!
You did a very wonderful job arranging the itinerary and they did not have to walk very very much which is what they wanted.

Just to thank you and to wish you continued excellent work!

Best Wishes,
Jeannie

Dear "Tina'

Thank you so much for the wonderful trip we had. To my surprise the hotels were as nice as the internet pictures.
I sent you the synopsis of the trip which covers much of the experience, impressions. Following covers more of the "tour arrangements".
First, the guides were very good. This was my first time of not having the same guide throughout the entire journey. Son, Han, and Ying were allexcellent -- and each different. Han -- the history teacher, disciplined, we all got a good laugh at him telling Katrina "listen". had a schedule to meet and he did, a good cyclist that kept us very safe. Son, just a big kid who was a lot of fun. Ying who was very responsive to our requests, when he had the choice took us away from the bus tour restaurants. All of them nice guys.
Great transportation!!! Drivers were great on all things.
Empress hotel was my favorite!!!! Green hotel could use some refurbishing.
Shame about no boat ride/beach time in Nha Trang. but unavoidable due to weather conditions. Mekong more than made up for it. That was a terrific part of trip. Schedule called for ferry ride -- if there was a conscious decision for the small boat etc. -- thank you, thank you. It was perfect!
Set meals -- first time for me with such a program. Overall -- good. Benefits -- avoiding casting about for place to eat, got dishes we wouldn't have known to order. Drawbacks -- only one really. Some of the meals got repetitive, different place, same food. As the trip went on, Ying especially, provided an opportunity to substitude, we ordered extra of a certain dish off the menu (our cost!).
Recommendation -- first dinner in Dalat, whatever the place was, horrid! Just didn't eat 90% of the food. Use another place. Ying took us to another place the following evening, small local restaurant. Wonderful!!!!

Well, I'll now start thinking about Cambodia, Laos -- with Mekong as part of it. Sadly, due to attack on Katrina, will approach planning with caution etc. Not sure if I want to cycle in some of the areas -- and certainly not sure about wanting to take on the responsibility of having women along on trip. That one person did not do a lot for tourism.
Overall -- great job Tina!!! In planning my next trips to area you will be my first choice as to considering.

Subject: FOR THE KIND ATTENTION OF MS HOANG NGAN

Hello Ms Hoang Ngan
I just wanted to write to you to say a big "thank you" for organising our tour. We were extremely pleased with everything especially our guide Chinh Vu. As for the Classic Hotel, it is not bad for a 2star hotel, the only thing that needs improvement is the attitude of the staff at the reception and the kitchen, maybe they need some training in manners. Otherwise, we have been most pleased with he whole arrangement, so thank you very much. Both the SAKOW family and our family spent a wonderful week in Hanoi especially on our Anh Duong Junk in Halong Bay. The captain and his staff were great. With our warmest regards and all the best for the future and business of Asia Pacific Travel

Dear Ms Hoang Ngan,
I want to thank you, your company and your colleagues for providing us with a highly successful tour of Vietnam in July.
The complete itinerary went exactly to plan and we were welcomed at every arrival point with a smile and enthusiasm and every detail was well covered.
The hotels were excellent and the service of a high quality with very helpful people. We were not disappointed at any destination.
Each guide: Hoa at Hanoi, Son at Hue, Kim at Ho Chi Minh and Meng Hong at Angkor Wat were without fault.
I have attached a photo of our group with each guide for your interest. Other photos I have sent on a separate email
We would be happy for our name to used if you need a reference for any prospective client.
We will certainly encourage other New Zealand people to use the services of Vietnam Opentour - Sinhcafe when they plan to visit Vietnam.
Thank you for all the work you prepared on our behalf as we are very grateful.
Best wishes

Kind regards
Bob & Elaine Moffat

Subject: Holiday snaps

Dear Mr Le Thuc
Life at work is back to normal and we (all 3 of us) has a wonderful trip. We are going to put a letter together to say just that… but so far no one has taken the lead in doing it.

However I thought you may like to see and/or use our happy snaps………… it was all wonderful and our guide and driver were fantastic. The accomodation was great and the food tremendous…..

Thank you for helping put Vietnam onto my travel agenda…. I intend to return… and maybe do the east coast and/or north.
Kind regards
Ian Carter

Hi Hai,
Thanks for the excellent tour. I have travelled worldwide and have only occasionally found service at these levels.
All drivers were on time and efficient and safe. The hotels were better than expected and they even organised a dinner river cruise when a small refund was due for a cancelled golf day. This company is professional and went above and beyond to service our tour. Thanks to you all for a great tour.

Ross Mcphee.
