17 Days Vietnam Royal

Welcomed at Tan Son Nhat airport and transferred to Hotel. Short city tour to the Reunification Hall, Notre dame Cathedral,and the Central Post Office. Welcome dinner on a boat to cruise along the Saigon river to see Saigon by night. 

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

After Breakfast, transfer to My Tho – The first bustling town of Mekong Delta. Boat cruise along the Mekong River to visit the orchards on the Thoi Son islet. Enjoy tropical fruits of the season, visit Honey-bee farm and Coconut Candy Workshop; Continuing by hand-oared sampan ride along the canals. Lunch . Visit Vinh Trang Ancient Pagoda before driving back to HoChiMinh. 

Overnight at hotel 

Drive to Phan Thiet, a famous beach 200 km to the North of Ho Chi Minh City. Check in at a lovely beach resort. Free bathing with sun and white sand at the resort. Night at the resort.

Enjoy the beach at sunrise. After breakfast visit the famous moving sand-hill of Phan Thiet. Visit the fairy stream and fishing village, Free and easy . Overnight at the resort.

In the morning, visit Phan Thiet market. Then transfer to Nha Trang city, 250 km North of Phan Thiet which is considered as the best beach of Vietnam. Check in at the hotel. Relax at the beach in front of the hotel. 

Overnight in Nha Trang.

Start from your hotel to Cau Da port in the morning. The Oceanographic Institute nearby the Nhatrang Port is the first place to visit where you can see the full collection of sea creatures of Nha Trang bay before embarking & cruising to the islands. Many sea species of Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa province make a small ocean world there. Mun Island is the best island for snorkeling where you can see lots of colorful corals and fish. You will also be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nests from the boat. Then relaxing, swimming & doing water sports or other activities at Mot Island, Tranh Beach Island or on a small island called “Mini beach”. Taking a fresh lunch at the island or Con se tre village. On the way back you will visit a fishing village before going to the shore.

Overnight in Nha Trang. 

Transfer to Cam Ranh Airport for flight to Da Nang , Drive pick up and transfer to Hoi An ancient town, 30 km South of Da Nang, one of the World's Cultural Heritage.On the way,  Visiting Cham Museum- It is a collection of various sandstone sculptures of the Gods in Hinduism of the Champa Kingdom.Continue to visit Marble mountain – A masterpiece of nature presents to Da Nang. Challenge yourself to climb up to over 120 steps to get to the Marble of Water (Thuy Son). From here, amazing and fabulous fairylands appear in front of your eyes.

There are a lot of ancient and sacred pagodas with great architecture. A lot of amazing Buddha statues in wonderful caves from the 4th century. Check in when you arrive. 

Overnight in Hoi An

After Breakfast, our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Hoi An. It will 20 minute before you arrive in Cam Thanh.

Take a basket boat transferring to Cam Thanh water coconut village. Learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. On the trip, the boatman will take coconut leaves to make amazing natural ornaments such as hats, rings, glasses…These lovely ornaments will be then given to you as a gift. You will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and join an equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling drum music.

Board on boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Join local fishermen on the river and experience rounding nets or casting nets. Coconut forest is a very unique ecoregion, with a beautiful mangrove forest, is the habitat of many precious animals such as crabs, shrimps, fishes and shellfishes.

Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. You will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure.

After noon, explore HoiAn old town . You will be escorted to the Japanese bridge, TanKy old house, assembly hall… to contemplate their special architectural features and hear your tour guide introducing the establishment and history of each place. 

Overnight in Hoi An 

After breakfast, transfer to DaNang and head out to Ba Na hills. Take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing trains (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda.

You should not miss walking on the Golden Bridge amid the foggy hills of the mountain, enjoy the gorgeous view of Da Nang City.

Have a buffet lunch at a restaurant

Afternoon: Free to explore the French village or joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with a series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park… (2 hours).

15:00 Return to Da Nang city along the Red Beach Bay. Stop at Central Specialties Super Market for Shopping. 

Overnight in Danang

Hue was once Vietnam’s imperial capital and today you can discover its historic significance first hand. Cruise along the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, visit the Citadel and ornate tombs of former emperors ( Minh Mang & Khai Dinh Tombs) and explore Dong Ba market.

Overnight at hotel  

Free until transfer to Phu Bai Airport for flight to Hanoi. Meet at Noi Bai airport and transfer to a hotel. 

Enjoying a walking tour through the maze of bustling streets that make up Hanoi’s Old Quarter, we tempt our tastebuds with the famed Hanoi dish Banh Cuon at a local eatery. Watch in awe as the skilled chefs demonstrate for you how this tasty dish is put together. Continuing into the atmospheric heart of the Old Quarter, we wander past street stalls and quiet residential lanes where you can observe local life that has changed little since Hanoi was founded over 1000 years ago. 

Our next stop is where we sample some Bun Cha consisting of vermicelli, herbs and grilled pork. At Hanoi's best kept secrets, a hidden café, we will watch the demonstration and then try some egg coffee, a scrumptious local delicacy.

Continue to other food stalls in Hang Bo and Ho Hoan Kiem Street where we try some dishes such as Che “Vietnamese style pudding” - this specialty is one not to be missed!

Back to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi 

After breakfast, Experience the rich culture of Hanoi. Spend time at the Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda and the Presidential Palace. Visit the Vietnam History Museum and the Hanoi Opera House. 

Afternoon, the local guide will meet you at the hotel and transfer to West Lake – the biggest freshwater lake in the northwest center of Hanoi. Take a witness to a golden sunrise casting its magical spell and scenic sight of lotus flowers by boat.

Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda as known as the oldest pagoda in the city, originally constructed in the sixth century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De, and then keep walking to Quan Thanh Temple, as one of the Four Sacred Temples of the capital. 

Overnight in Hanoi

In the morning, journey through verdant farmlands on your way to boarding a traditional wooden junk boat and an overnight journey on the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. Visit the Surprise Cave, and maybe take a invigorating swim or hike on Titov Island. There are many optional activities that can be booked locally including a cookery class, massage, and kayaking. 

Overnight on cruise 

You may start the day with Tai Chi on the sundeck, followed by breakfast, before exploring the Dark and Bright Caves. A tasty brunch will be served as the boat winds through the limestone landscapes. 

Disembark and reach Ninh Binh with endless rice fields, tall limestone mountains and amazing caves, Ninh Binh Province is a must see.

Overnight at hotel in Ninh Binh

Today, you will visit the glimmering Bai Dinh pagoda complexes, the largest pagoda, not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia. Scenically set on the foot hill of Dinh Mountain surrounded by amazing views of the exquisite river valley below and the limestone karsts dotted around which will take your breath away. This pagoda complexes stunningly boast an array of the most massive and magnificent architecture of Vietnamese tradition refined ever built that it takes a full day to explore. So you will visit some of the highlights that owned the national: 500 stone statues of “La Han” (Arhats), 2 huge bronze bells, one weighs 27 tons, other weighs 36 tones and Three bronze statues of Tam The (50 tons each) then have buffet lunch with Vietnamese Cuisines in our restaurant.

In the afternoon, you arrive at Trang An Wharf – the most exciting boating trip with sampan boats through caves and visit stunning river surrounded by Limestone Karsts with rich fauna and flora. 

Overnight in Ninh Binh 

After breakfast, you will have a quick visit to two temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen... to know why Hoa Lu was built as the capital of Vietnam at the end of nine century. Second stop at Mua Cave - the highlight attraction in Ninh Binh, challenge yourself for 500 steps up Cave mountain where you will have a great panorama view of Tam Coc and rice field.

After that, we will head to Tam Coc at noon. Enjoy a delicious set menu lunch cooked by the local chef at quite a bungalow. At 2:00 pm you will have around 1.5 hours of a boat trip on Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc famous for karst water caves and beautiful water rice fields. Then cycle for half an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops inside the village (around 4 km).

Back to Hanoi. Overnight at hotel 

Free at leisure in morning time. At the appropriate time, you'll transfer to the airport to catch your flight home. Have a nice flight and see you next time !
